This site is tani.porto. I am Tanya, I photograph in Porto, Portugal, and I am the person responsible for what happens to the information you send me through this site.

The contact form asks for three things: your name, your email address and the date you would like. Everything else on it is optional: another way to reach you such as a phone number or a messaging handle, two alternative dates, the time of day, where you would like the photographs taken, how many adults and how many children are coming, the ages of the children, the kind of session, the language you would like spoken during it, your NIF if you need an invoice, and anything you want to write to me. The form also records which language it was in when you sent it.

I use what you send to answer you, to agree a date and a place for the session, and to send you the payment link that holds your date. I do not use it for anything else, I do not sell it, and I do not pass it to anyone except the services named below, which handle it only to do those jobs.

What allows me to hold it is that these are the steps you ask for before a booking. The box you tick before you send the form is how you tell me that.

Your message is stored in Cloudflare KV, the key and value store of Cloudflare, the company this site runs on. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells a person from a robot and is given your IP address to do it. The two emails, the one that reaches me and the confirmation that reaches you, are sent through Resend.

Your message is deleted automatically 180 days after you send it. A count of how many messages came from your email address on one day is kept for one day, so the form cannot be used to flood my inbox. If one of the two emails fails to go out, a short note about that failure is kept for 30 days. Anything still held is deleted sooner if you ask me to delete it.

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, and ask me to delete it. Ask and I will do it, and I will not charge you for it.

If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the CNPD, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, which is the data protection authority in Portugal.

This site has no analytics, no advertising cookies and nothing that follows you to other sites. The one thing it remembers in your browser is whether you chose the light or the dark version of the page, and that stays on your device.

Photographs of clients appear on this site only when that client has given written consent for them. If you are in a photograph here and you would rather not be, tell me and I will take it down.
